I personally enjoy this fan fiction very much because of the interesting starting point that the writer has. “Heavy rain” is a video game which focuses much on plots and cinematic scenes. That is to say, the author of “Heavy rain” himself has already consummate of his idea entirely into the story. Somehow, fans can always catch a 'suspicious' clue to embrace their imagination by creating pieces of fan fictions based on the story to show their passion.In this piece, the writer is inspired from the background of the character Norman Jayden, which has not been described in detail in the game, and created the story on his own. As the story I am interested in has the similar feature, I might be writing a fan fiction to reboot it with the mysterious part that has not been fully explained.

2.Despicable me

-A side-story of Despicable Me, involving minions, takos, and mustaches! A oneshot deticated to the randomness of the minions!

This side-story is based on the enthusiasm of writer's on yellow minions.Everybody loves the yellow minions in 'despicable me', I'm not the exception of course. This fan fiction used third-person pov to illustrate  one day of minions. What I appreciate is that the writer has a vivid image while telling the story, the actions,surroundings and words are definitely put there in detail. I will try to create the scene in my fan fiction with more detailed description. Just to mention, I'm not a fan of his style because the over-detailed illustration brings a style with lack of vigor into this fan fiction, which I think is not a match with the story itself.

3.Diablo 3

This fan fiction is a total transfer from the cinematic scene to words，telling how Tyrael fell from the Highest Heaven. When first saw the idea of this fan fiction i thought it was going to be literal and 'dead' in a way. However, after reading this piece, I totally change my view. The writer imparts the vigour from the cinematic scene and add his imagination into the narrative. It was not only based on the image and conversation but also combined with his thoughts and writing technique. This inspires me to use some scene transfer in my fan fiction and I will try my best to form it in my way.

4.Kara

I have searched for this fan fiction for a long time because basically no one wrote any piece about 'Kara'. However, I think it is worth a try because the plot is really awesome， and that's why I chose this scene as my base of my fan fiction. Kara was sold and she recalled some of her memory in the lab. This story shows the struggle and the choice she had, which really matches my thought about what my piece is about. I like how the writer separates the original scene into his work and puts them into the whole new story.This is an integration of the original and the new.

5.Beyond: two souls

- From a young age Jodie has noticed 'something' that follows her. She doesn't know if it is a spirit or a ghost, but for some reason she calls it Idon. At the age of 17 she needs to live of life of constant fleeing and fear. As a secret goverment tries to hunt her down...to understand her god-like powers. 

A fan fiction of an upcoming game is really rare. This game contains  thriller and psychology. The writer create a piece with imaginary plots based on the game trailer. It's relatively shorter than other fan fiction but it has many important elements contained in the pieces above. I'll take this as an example while I do my work.
